ALLERGEN ADVICE:

Some products contain dairy, our plant based products are made in the same facility that handles dairy. Nuts are used in the facility where this product is made.

XYLITOL WARNING:

We have products that contain Xylitol. Xylitol and dogs do not get along. Keep it away from your furry friends.

Where can I buy your products?

Major Supermarkets such as Woolworths, Coles and Costco, as well as independent supermarkets. You can find your closest stockist by clicking on our product nutritional information buttons.

Do you have gluten free products?

Yes. 

Do you use artificial sweeteners?

No, none of our products are sweetened artificially. All of sweeteners including Erythritol, Xylitol and Monk Fruit come from plants. 

Why do you use Maltitol in your Dipped Licks?

After numerous recipe and development trials we discovered that using our usual plant based sweeteners wasn't an option for this product and as much as we would've liked this to be the case - the chocolate wouldn't harden on the stick in our manufacturing process. This resulted in the cracking chocolate coating falling apart or coming straight off the stick after one bite. Maltitol, is currently the only sweetener that allows the chocolate to remain stable in the dipping, freezing and eating process. The chocolate dip contains only a small amount of Maltitol and is combined with additional ingredients such as cocoa and vegetable oil, this automatically reduces the glycemic index of the end product. We are continuing to do R&D on this product and working to find an alternative, however we understand that this choice may not be suitable for some.

Are your products diabetic friendly?

All our products contain lower amounts of sugar. However, we do have a ZERO added sugar, low carb “Lick” Ice Cream range, that has been specifically designed with the Diabetic and Keto community in mind. However, we always recommend that you read the label and check the ingredients first, to make sure they are right for you.

I have a nut allergy; can I eat Twisted?

Our products do not contain nuts and are not made on a shared line. We do not manufacture any flavours containing nuts. There is a warning on our packaging because we cannot guarantee our supply chain.

Which items of packaging can I recycle?

You can recycle the product boxes, 1L tub and lid, the lids from our Minis cups, and the sticks from our Licks. The plastic Licks wrappers and Minis cups are not recyclable.

Are your products made with 100% Australian Dairy?

Yes, we proudly only use 100% Australian Dairy.

Are the ingredients GMO free?

Yes.

Are your products vegetarian?

Yes.

Are your products Halal certified?

Our products are not Halal certified however they do not contain any meat products. 

Are your products Kosher certified?

Our products are not Kosher certified. 

Is it true that you are Australia’s only female led frozen dessert manufacturer? 

Yes, we are so proud to be Australia’s only female led and owned frozen dessert manufacturer. All of our products are manufactured at our factory in Sydney.
