September’s Twisted Sista | Kirsty Lewis

We’re changing it up. As many of you know Twisted was founded by Food Technologist and mum of three, Cass Spies and for this reason we are super passionate about female CEO’s and women in business. Along with Cass, the majority of the team at Twisted are women which is why we thought it was time to shine some light on the amazing girls that make up our own team, here at the Twisted Factory. First up is Kirsty our Logistics manager!

How long have you worked at Twisted for?

7.5 Years

Give us brief description of your role

I am the Logistics Manager which means I organise transport and all orders, as well as production. I also take care of the Food Safety aspects of the business.

What is your funniest memory whilst working at Twisted?

When I was sitting next to Cass (Twisted’s Founder) in the office and she randomly asked herself what she was doing on the weekend, rather than asking me.

What is your favourite Twisted Healthy Treat ?

The Probiotic Mini Lite Ice Cream’s are lush.

Do you think it’s important to create an emphasis around women in business?

Absolutely! I love the Twisted Sista campaign. Women run the world and that should be acknowledged.

What do you like about working at Twisted?

The fun friendly atmosphere and awesome people, as well as the opportunity for individual growth within the business.

If you had to switch roles with someone in the team for a day, who would you switch with and why?

I am very happy in my role. From working my way up through the ranks I have already been in the shoes of the production team and production manager. The other girls in the office bring more creative aspects to the business that I have zero skill at, and Cass brings great insight into product development and growth of the business. I think my role is perfect for what I have to offer with my organisational skills.

What are you most likely doing when you aren’t working at the Twisted Factory?

Dreaming of travelling the world!!!!!
