What was your dream job as a kid and why?

I wanted to be a pilot, or a diplomat! I wanted a career that meant I could travel the world and explore different cultures.

What made you start your own business? Have you always had that Girl Boss Hustle? Or was it something that you grew into?

My parents will tell you I’ve always been headstrong from a very young age! I started my first business at 21, and had never been an employee, so to be honest I didn’t really know at the time it was ‘different’! I’ve always loved working hard, and connecting people, resources and ideas to bring a business to life.

What do you know now, that you wish you knew when you were younger?

The power of delegating and empowering others to help you achieve your goals. It’s a tough skill to learn but makes the journey much more enjoyable!

What’s your favourite thing about your job?

Seeing creative campaigns come to life. I still get such a rush when I see campaigns where clients have found talent through theright.fit platform in real life, on a billboard, or a magazine, or online. It never gets old!

And least favourite thing?

The compromises. You can have it all, but not at the same time. So it’s a juggle of constantly prioritising where friends, family, health & fitness, etc fit in with two busy companies.

Tell us about another #GirlBoss who has inspired you

Rebekah Giles is a constant source of inspiration for me. Not only is she a fearless commercial litigator, she manages to be a fantastic mother, friend and ambassador for a number of causes she believes in including the Royal Hospital for Women Foundation. Having survived the Boxing Day tsunami in 2004, she reminds me that we can overcome a lot more than we often give ourselves credit for.

If you were a Twisted Frozen Yoghurt flavour, what would you be?

Original! Classic, tangy and never goes out of style!

What’s been the biggest achievement in your business?

With WINK models – year on year growth for the entire 11 years we have been in business in a huge achievement. For theright.fit, having our 7,500 talent on our platform in less than 2 years was a milestone I am so proud of.

How would your BFF describe you?

Driven, dynamic and always up for an adventure!

If you could share a glass of wine with anyone (famous, not famous, living or dead) who would it be and why?

Michelle Obama. I’ve just finished her biography and there are so many stories I would love to hear more details on than Im sure she was allowed to share in print!
