Feeling the winter blues? Lemon is a great source of vitamin C which is essential for your immune health. This Zesty Lemon Winter Wellness Smoothie by Emma Swanston is a great way to add a daily dose of Probiotics into your diet as well as helping to boost your Immunity.
Makes 1 large smoothie
2 large scoops (approx 1/2 C) twisted healthy treats zesty lemon yoghurt probiotic power frozen yoghurt
1 cup of milk of choice
1 cup of frozen mixed berries
1 Tablespoon of honey
1/2 teaspoon of ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon of ground turmeric
A pinch of ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon of lemon zest
1-2 scoops of collagen – optional for extra gut healing goodness
Blend all ingredients until smooth and creamy.
Pour into a glass (or bowl) top with extra berries, honey, coconut shreds, mint & cacao nibs (or chocolate) if desired.
